This year’s annual event went extremely well with many relevant companies attending and job offers across the board. It was great seeing ex-students and seeing how successful they had become since graduating. Most ex-students had some to the show to take on interns and to find the right CG Artist to work in their companies.
Companies such as Uniform (uniform.net), Pixel Flakes (pixelflakes.com), from London, Polygon Studios (thepolygonstudio.com) from Brighton and international company, Visual House (http://visualhouse.co/), attended recognising the value of such first-hand recruitment.
Lee Corbon, Lead Graphic Artist from the Bournemouth based Drilling Systems Ltd. ( ttps://www.drillingsystems.com/ ) , officially opened the Expo with a 10am ribbon cutting. Mr. Corbon is an ex-student and was pleased to be back to open the event.
“It’s a great course and a great opportunity for the students. It’s an opportunity for us to find a new placement within our company,” said Mr. Corbon. He and his colleague Will Baker were also examining and interviewing students with the hope to make an offer to one lucky individual.
